The time away was needed. Here is a little bit of what has happened or things I’ve noticed since my return to bloggage:
1. Staci & Damon’s wedding was beautiful. The drive to Tennessee was long…but we encouraged ourselves with singing. I must have sung “I Love My Lips” a thousand times. At one point, I was standing in the parking lot of a McDonald’s…singing at the top of my lungs. Randy & Liz opened their home up and we crashed there for a couple of hours. Liz prepared a huge feast for us and we ate, dressed, and went to the wedding. St. John’s Something-another church is where the wedding was held. The reception was at Renaissance Commons. As soon as my pictures are developed I’ll post them here.
2. One of my friendships certainly was awfully rocky this week. It died…and now it’s kind of resurrected. Hmm. All I know is time changes everything. Romance…friendship…enemies…acquaintance?
3. This poem is beautiful.
4. Rick and Fluff both have new frocks for their blogs.
5. This is scary. I should have known. Tim is just that kind of guy.
6. It is possible that I will have a job soon. There are some great opportunities with this company.
7. Why is it that Wes insists on writing to me as “LadyJ” and calling me by my last name on my voicemail? My name is Jennifer. J e n n i f e r. I’m not one of the boys.
8. Kerry got her hair cut like Amelie. As long as she doesn’t spout French I’ll be all right.
9. I’m very happy for David.
10. I really hate messaging someone only to discover that someone different has signed on under their name. Augh.
11. A hot bath, good book, and a candle will solve most problems.
12. Coffee will solve all others.
13. I’m grateful for these kind of friends.
