My eyes held a sparkle,
And my lips were all smiles.
My reddened cheeks and quickened beat,
Came not from dashing miles.
Love’s knock had come at last,
No caution I did save,
And threw my dreams into the wind,
Just to grasp what love gave.
Walking through the heartache,
Illusions fill the mind,
Learning love is not worth leaving
Your principles behind.
I am slowly realizing that somethings are not worth throwing your heart to the wind.
