Monday, October 21st, 2002I’ve been extremely sick all day long…and all he says is “I’m sure you’ll feel better before you know it…you should just appreciate the sickness!!!” Okaaay, thanks for those encouraging words. Where is Jenn T when I need her?? She’s the type that will pray with me, hug me and send me cute little cards when I’m sick. Is it wrong to want to feel appreciated when you are feeling awful? He would say that I just want attention and that he certainly isn’t going to give me that. *rolls eyes*
There is a strong possibility that I’m simply being fussy and whiny. However, isn’t comfort part of friendship? When one person is feeling down or lonely…shouldn’t the other person try to uplift them?
