I am a little confused and disoriented. I just woke up. All of the lights were on in my room, cd player was blaring and I’m fully clothed. I suppose I just fell asleep. I was hungry when I got up so I’m eating some apple stuff my mom made last night and drinking water. This Thing Called Love is playing and I’m hyper. No one is online…grrr…well, normal people should be in bed. I hope I didn’t just leave the computer in the middle of a conversation or anything. I’m sorry that I disappeared for a while. I noticed some messages on my phone. Heh heh. Ooooh, it’s quite tempting to IM you right now but you have been idle for 52 minutes which means you are sleeping. If I IM you then you’ll wake up and be all grumpy. *resists*

Man, it’s cold in here.

For some reason I am having flashbacks of the state fair this summer. The note we found on our vehicle (from the Dean of Students) concerning our deportment in Columbia, Watching Andrew scarf nasty state fair hot dogs, David disappearing into the bushes for personal reasons, the scrumptious Tin Man playing the guitar, dragging Kerry down to the stage where FFH was playing Big Fish, Andrew turning a deeper shade of green after each ride, David and I acting out Eminem songs, Virginia teasing poor Jessie into believing that we’d all been kicked out for our vices, watching Chris Rice dance like a wild man, Andrew telling us stupid constituent stories, and driving back to Taylors with Moulin Rouge as the only thing to keep us company.

Well, maybe I will go back to bed and try to sleep. Ick. I’m wide-awake! I wish I didn’t have to work today. 🙁

valentines.

Roses, chocolate and pink cards are fine but those things aren’t happening this year. I’ll be satisfied with a hug from my dad in the morning. He’ll look at me like he always does and tell me how pretty I am…even though I always have serious bed head in the morning. I will march into the world and face the day. I’ll even wear red. Not because I’m taken…but because I love red and I look good in it.

I’ll admit…I have times just like Amber mentioned. But I should stop listening to the soundtrack of Moulin Rouge, put away the wedding magazines and stop glancing at furry wedding dresses. The Lord will send him when it’s time. Until then…I will do the next thing. (Oh my, Until)

good things.

in no particular order

1. The wind has calmed today. Yesterday, Jon and I were behind the Tennis Courts and the wind was whipping everything about furiously. This huge branch suddenly came flailing out of a tree and crashed on top of a car. Exceedingly large dent.
2. My OCP project went beautifully.
3. Wes is traipsing down to SC in March. He lives in PA…attending school, and being missed. I can’t crawl inside his closets and find Anne Rice novels anymore.
4. 80 days until graduation!
5. Possible real job in the works. Pray.

There’s plenty of room for all of God’s creatures…right next to the mashed potatoes.
