My Management Policies prof just emailed me to let me know our written case received an A!! *dances* If you think of it tomorrow…please pray for us. Our oral presentation is at 1pm EST.

4 cans of Coke, NoDoz, and hip-hop can keep a woman awake for only so long. I am trying not to be bitter than I have had all of this work thrown at me…I’m trying not to be angry with my group partners but it’s not working.

Let’s see…here’s a list:

– Mark was supposed to reserve a data projector, VCR, and TV. He came back from the Media Center and told us that it wasn’t going to work out simply because we should have asked sooner. I went by yesterday just to make sure he knew what he was talking about and lo, I discover that he didn’t. I reserved everything we needed.

– Nathan I. was supposed to get a room reserved…and couldn’t find a thing. Hmm. Finally, I took matters into my own hands and found a room in Fine Arts.

– I’m the one who has had three + meetings with Wal-Mart management. They gave me 1.) $50 worth of donated merchandise (I chose what I wanted), 2.) two vests, 3.) Ability to film employees and customers, 4.) Wal-Mart bags, 5.) and a job offer in Management! (I casually turned it down)

– Yours truly made all the invitations. Every single one.

– Guess who made all the brochures for this presentation?

– I bet you couldn’t possibly figure out who placed all the pictures into this project and went and had it bound.

– Nathan I. and Mark were assigned the small and trivial role of making the Trivia part of the PowerPoint presentation. I found them in the lab adding pictures of me and Nathan to their slides…and inserting the stupidest questions for the game. I just asked him to send me his final copy (which he didn’t get to finish because he left early) and I totally redid it.

– Mark isn’t doing any speaking really in this entire presentation because he isn’t comfortable with English. Oh darn. (He’s foreign)

– Nathan doesn’t want to speak that much because he’s having to practice for his Principal Minor Recital on tomorrow. Gee, and I should do all your work because of that?

– Aaron works from 6pm-12am each evening so he hasn’t made it to any of our meetings. Thankfully, he and Nathan H. went with me to film the other night.

– Nathan H. has been a help. He is covering the History of Wal-Mart and he’s totally done his own slides and everything. *gasp*

– During the presentation I’m covering the Culture & Community and Objectives & Goals. I’m also in charge of the drawing at the end.

I realize this is just bitter ranting…but it’s 4am and I’m realizing that if it wasn’t for me these guys would not have a project at all. You might wonder why I’m even doing as much as I am…but this project is a HUGE part of our grade and I want to get a nice grade. I am very thankful that we evaluate our group partners though. Heh heh. *wicked laugh*

some days are better than others.

I so can’t believe the test I just took. Legal Environment of Business…open notes, open book, open discussion with anyone and everyone…Dr. Wilch wasn’t even in the class!!! Our proctor (the infamous Merkle) propped his feet up and laughed as we all shared answers. The test is worth two test grades. Life is good.

dreary day.

I have so much work to do this weekend. My management policies group is meeting at 1:30 to discuss the final paper. I’m supposed to print it out this morning and have it bound…but Aaron hasn’t emailed me the final piece yet. So, I sit here patiently. Once I receive the email I have to insert all of the pictures. I’ll be so grateful when this is over. However, once the written part is done…we have to prepare for the 75 minute oral report. *grimace*

I miss Greg too.

makes me wonder.

My LEB class felt exceptionally long today. Eric and Hans were serenading me with oldies, Jennifer and I were discussing grad school, and Michael was doing his usual weird stuff. There is no telling what law cases we discussed today…I had too many other important things to do. hehe

Speaking of grad school…these articles were rather depressing and now I’m not even sure if I should pursue grad school now.
